#24. Stay at the Plaza Hotel

This post is a little late in coming, but I was able to cross number 24 off my 25 Things list in January!  My mom & mother-in-law both had business together in Las Vegas, NM which involved them staying the night there.  I asked if I could go with because of my list, and if we could at least see the hotel!  I was absolutely stoked that they decided to just stay the night there and that I was able to go with!  I was hoping to see a ghost there since it is famous for being haunted.  Sadly was unable to sit down and have a chat with Byron T, the local phantom.  However I was able to take beautiful pictures of the town square, which was rich in Victorian architecture and local establishments!

The room we stayed in was very elegant with huge vaulted ceilings, and super-friendly staff, and a delicious complementary breakfast.  The room is only $75.00 a night, and I am already planning on going back soon!  Over all we were enthralled by our visit; and it gave me the boost I needed to continue forth with the rest of my list.

Why Blog About It?

Here I am.  I am turning 25 years old in three weeks, and I feel like my life & personality has plateaued over the last few years.  I have been the same me since my first year of college in 2004.  I sometimes wish I were braver, smarter, prettier, more bold in general.  I wish for the same outgoingness every year, but finally I am taking a stand against my old ways.  I am tired of wishing... And this year is going to be different because I have a plan.  I have compiled a list of 25 Things to do during my 25th year... This blog is a place to record the updates on my list as they happen!

The List.

I am very excited to be sharing the list publicly, and it is my hope that I will hold myself more accountable to see it through!  This blog will be documentation of seeing the list through, and I hope that reading it, writing it, and going out and doing it will be a blessing to me and to those sharing in the adventure.
